Full backups are taken weekly and duplicated, with one set of tapes staying in-house for immediate recovery while other tapes are sent off-site to a secure storage facility. In addition, we take daily incremental backups and send these off-site to the secure facility. Tapes are rotated to ensure that:

• One month of historical, full weekly backups is archived at the secure offsite storage facility;
• One week of historical, incremental daily backups is archived at the secure off-site facility;
• The most recent historical full weekly back up is available on-site in our on-site tape vaults.
